LĒVO Brownie Cake with No Bake Biscotti Cheesecake Filling

Yields: One 6-inch 4-layer brownie cake with no bake cheesecake filling, 12-20mg THC servings

Prep time: 2 hours

Brownie cake bake time: 30 minutes at 350 degrees F


  • acetate sheet for building your layers

  • piping bag

  • flat cake plate or board

  • 2- 6-inch round cake pans, lined with parchment


For brownies:

  • 1 box LĒVO Brownie Mix

  • 3 eggs, separated

  • 1/2 cup LĒVO made cannabis butter *, melted, slightly cooled

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • pinch of salt

For no bake cheesecake filling:

  • 1/2 Tub Extra Creamy Cool Whip

  • 1 - 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

  • 2 drops Biscotti terpenes by True Terpenes


  • 1/2 cup extra creamy Cool Whip

  • 1/4 cup no bake cheesecake filling

  • cocoa powder (optional)

  • canned cherry pie filling (optional)


Levo Brownie Cake

  1. Prepare cannabis butter in LĒVO.

  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and prepare cake pans. I line my cake pans with parchment paper but thy can also be coated with oil and flour or sprayed very well with a cooking spray.

  3. Separate egg yolks from whites, set whites aside.

  4. Combine egg yolks, and pinch of salt with melted, slightly cooled butter.

  5. Add Levo brownie mix and 1/4 cup heavy cream, combine until all brownie mix is moistened and incorporated. Try to avoid over mixing. Set aside.

  6. Beat egg whites to stiff peaks.

  7. Gently fold beaten egg whites into brownie mixture.

  8. Divide evenly between both cake pans, approximately 1 3/4 cup batter per cake pan. Spread batter to evenly in pan, ensuring batter goes all the way to the edges.

  9. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes, rotate cake pans and bake another 15 minutes or until cake is done. Cake will spring back when lightly touched and cake will begin to pull from edges of pan. Toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.

  10. Once cakes are done, place on wire racks to cool for 5 minutes before attempting to turn out cakes onto parchment lined surface.

  11. Once cakes have cooled for a few minutes and you have turned them out onto parchment lined surface, allow them to cool for another 10 minutes before cutting each cake circle in half to create the 4 round layers.

  12. Once cut into 4 rounds, allow to cool completely before assembling. I sped up the cooling process by putting them in the fridge while I prepared the no-bake cheesecake filling.

No-Bake Biscotti Cheesecake Filling

  1. With mixer, beat 8 ounces softened cream cheese with 1/4 cup powdered sugar and pinch of salt, until light and fluffy.

  2. Beat in 1/2 tub extra creamy cool whip, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1/2 vanilla extract and 2 drops Biscotti terpenes by True Terpenes. Beat until ingredients all fully incorporated, and mixture is light and fluffy.

  3. Set 1/4 cup cheesecake filling aside for cake topping.

  4. Put remaining mixture into piping bags and set aside.

Cake Assembly

  1. On cake board or flat cake plate, lay down first layer of brownie round.

  2. Tape acetate around first layer so other layers can stack inside.

  3. On first layer, pipe no-bake cheesecake filling in an even layer to cover all the way to the edges where cake meets acetate. Spread even with spatula or spoon, if needed.

  4. Place next brownie cake round on top of cheesecake layer.

  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to create 3 layers of filling and 4 layers of brownie. Set in fridge.

Cake Topping

  1. Combine 1/4 cup cheesecake filling with 1/2 cup extra creamy cool whip. Put into piping bag.

  2. Pipe cake topping onto top of cake while still wrapped in acetate. Use back of spoon or tip of butter knife to created tiny peaks all over cake top. Set in fridge to chill for at least 1 hour.

  3. Using a piece of acetate and an exacto knife I cut out a cannabis leaf stencil. After my cake was chilled and acetate removed, I sprinkled cocoa powder onto the stencils over my cake to create cannabis leaf decor.

  4. I also served it with a cherry pie filling, but it could be eaten without or with a variety of additional toppings!


Approximately 240mg THC for the entire cake when the cannabis butter recipe is followed using the same THC % and amount of cannabis. If you portion the cake into 12 even portions, each portion will be approximately 20mg THC per serving.
