True Terpenes' Cherry Pie terpene infused LĒVO made ganache wrapped around Bordeaux cherries dipped in chocolate and dusted with silver!
Yields: 15 cherries
Prep Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Ingredients
1 jar (about 15 cherries) Bordeaux Cherries with stems, juice strained, and cherries dried on paper towel
1/4 cup powdered sugar to dip cherries before coating with ganache to help it stick to wet cherry.
4 ounces chocolate for ganache
4 ounces heavy cream for ganache
1 tablespoon LĒVO made cannabis butter* for ganache
2 drops Flavor Infused Cherry Pie terpenes by True Terpenes
8 ounces melting chocolate for dipping
silver food dust (optional)
Directions
Strain cherries, place between paper towels to dry out some while you prepare ganache.
Heat heavy cream until hot, pour over chocolate pieces, add butter and stir until smooth.
Once smooth, begin whipping air into the ganache, add 2 drops Cherry Pie terpenes and continue beating air into ganache until lighter in color and fluffy.
Divide ganache evenly into 15 portions.
Dip each cherry into powdered sugar, coating thoroughly and shake off excess sugar.
Using very lightly, dampened hands, flatten ganache into a circular shape in your palm then wrap around the cherry, leaving stem exposed but ensuring ganache layer is "sealed".
Repeat until all cherries are wrapped in ganache. Set in freezer.
Heat chocolate melts according to package directions.
Once chocolate melts are fully melted and smooth you can begin dipping ganache wrapped cherries into chocolate and placing onto parchment to set.
Repeat until all ganache wrapped cherries are covered in chocolate.
*Dosing:
if you use the same THC % and amount of cannabis in the butter recipe and follow the directions of incorporating the infused ghee into 1 cup of butter, then using 1 tablespoon of the butter in this recipe will equate to approximately 2mg THC per terpy cherry bomb.
